Baudier's Portrait studio is owned and operated by Robert Baudier of the Mississippi Gulf Coast. Robert is a native of New Orleans, Louisiana, but has been living on the Gulf Coast since the summer of 1991.
As is the case with many photographers, Robert's interest in photography started as a hobby. Back in 1986, when he purchased his first camera, his love for this medium grew.
"Developing as a portrait photographer is never-ending. A portrait artist should
always be aware of changing styles, and be able to incorporate those changes into his/her work." Of course, having a "look" that stylizes your work; that sets it apart from someone else's is important too. And so, "while we are constantly looking for ways to enhance our work to keep it 'fresh' looking, we're ever conscious about fine-tuning our particular style and allowing it
to shape our portraiture."
The time we spend with you before your portrait session helps us to create truly meaningful photographs. Because of this, our complimentary planning sessions are the most important part of the portrait session. It can not be emphasized enough that clothing choices can mean the difference between a very successful portrait and just another picture.
